Sophia was the first wife of Francis Binning. The 1851 Census suggests she was born in Twyford which is east of Reading.
The 1851 Census shows her at age 21 as a "Lady's maid" to a 76 yr-old lady.
She married Francis Binning in 1853 and her age is shown then as “full age” I calculate she was 22 when married.
Here she is on the 1861 Census (Archive: 641) as 30 yrs old. We also see their daughter Sophia 6yrs and son, Frank J, aged 4 yrs.
She died aged 35 and Francis went on to marry again.
