Kitty’s grandfather. Edward had a daughter Bazzala but I don’t know what happened to her.
I found there was an entry for his baptism as Patterson here
The 1881 Census shows Edward, now 34, and his wife Maria (both from Bristol) with Bazzala 6, and young Edward J (Kitty’s father, later to die in 1916) at Dibbly Court, Bristol.
Death: Likely 1901 as he is found in the 1901 JFM Death Index as age 52 (1b/384)
He was buried in Hanwell Cemetery in 1901
